Decoding NEXT Truss: How to Read Our Product Codes

Choosing the right truss is easier when you know the product code for the type you need. Every truss in the NEXT Truss range is labeled with a simple code that tells you its size and type. Once you understand the system, you can quickly read and recognize any product in our range. NEXT Truss product codes usually contain four, five, or six characters.

For new users, this system is a clear way to get to know our products. For experienced users, it is an efficient way to navigate the entire range with confidence. The more you use the system, the quicker you will recognize the different products. Before you know it, the codes become second nature and you can identify instantly.

Let’s break it down step by step.

1. The first letter: Brand
The first letter is always N, which stands for NEXT Truss.

2. The second letter: Tube dimension
This letter tells you the main tube size and construction:
X = 2 x 51 mm
H = 3 x 48 mm
S = 4 x 50 mm
B = 5 x 60 mm
Example: NX… means NEXT Truss with 2 x 51 mm tubes.

3. The third character (optional): Specialty
Some trusses have a special design. If so, you will find an extra letter here:
R = Rectangular
T = Tower
PR = Pre Rig Truss
If there is no specialty, the code continues directly with the next digit.
Example: NXR… = NEXT Truss, 2 x 51 mm tubes, Rectangular.

4. The fourth digit: Distance / Height between the tubes
This number shows the vertical or horizontal distance between the chords:
0 = 0 cm
2 = 20 cm
3 = 30 cm
4 = 40 cm
5 = 50 cm
6 = 60 cm
10 = 100 cm
Example: NX32… = NEXT Truss, 2 x 51 mm tubes, 30 cm spacing.

5. The last digit: Number of tubes
Finally, the code ends with the number of main tubes in the truss:
1 = 1 tube (Single tube)
2 = 2 tubes (Ladder truss)
3 = 3 tubes (Triangle truss)
4 = 4 tubes (Square / Rectangular truss)
5 = 5 tubes (Square / Rectangular truss with middle beam)

Example: NX34 = NEXT Truss, 2 x 51 mm tubes, 30 cm spacing, 4 tubes (Square truss).

With this simple coding system, you can quickly identify which truss you are looking at and make sure it matches your project needs. It is a practical and clear way to get to know the NEXT Truss family.
